Measuring 20 inches high (not including its iron base) this wooden hem marker was produced in the 1900s to aid in sewing, dress making, and tailoring. Because it's missing its chalk-filled reservoir (used to spray a line onto fabric), it's now a pretty, industrial decorative accessory. Measures 21.5in high x 4.25in wide x 3.25in deep. Made in Long Island City, New York. Stamped C.N. Co. Inc. on base.
