Preferences for styles differ by era. For renovated master bathrooms among renovators aged 35 and up, contemporary was the most common style, while classic style was chosen more frequently for those aged 25 to 34.
Neutral walls will remain in the lead. When it comes to wall paint, neutrals still prevail. For the dominant color, gray was the top option, selected by 35% of homeowners who renovated, followed by white (19%) and beige (18 percent).
On the end, white cabinets fall out. In renovated master bathrooms, white was the top choice for cabinetry paint, according to the survey, with 38 percent of renovating homeowners selecting it as the dominant cabinet color. Fourteen percent opted for gray, while 13 percent chose medium tones of wood.
